August 19: Good Morning, Prague!

This morning we said goodbye to Vienna, as we boarded the train and headed towards Prague. The train ride was MUCH better than the previous one. For starters, it was cool -- so we weren't sweating to death. Also, it was much roomier and comfortable. After a quick four hours, we arrived to Prague and was greeted by a gentleman named Jakub.

*Backstory* While in Vienna, mom had decided she wanted to stay somewhere unique in Prague -- you know, instead of the traditional hotel that most tourist stay at. She got online and found a place that's right beside the Prague Castle called Alchymist Prague Castle Suites. This specific house dates back to 1415 and boy, is it incredible! There are only 8 rooms in the entire place. Also, each room has their own butler and driver. So crazy!

*Back to Jakub* While holding a sign that said "Mrs. Wyatt", Jakub greeted us on the train platform. He was the cutest, but not very talkative. He drove us to our hotel, where we were then greeted by the butler, Jiri. He had two glasses of champagne ready for us as we checked in. I assume this is what it must feel like to be Kate Middleton... just kidding, but it really was a warm welcome! After checking in, Jiri showed us around the hotel. Everything was just so beautiful and perfect. We then crammed into the tiniest elevator I've ever seen. I honestly think it's supposed to fit just one person, but we fit all three of us in there. We went up to our floor and saw our wonderful room. It was seriously so pretty! I, of course, fell in love with the bathtub. But, it also had a balcony with an amazing view of Prague Castle. This place is the best. Good picking, mom!

After freshening up, we hit the streets. We found a pub that had a huge sign on the outside that read, "Take Away Beer"... so we went inside and grabbed a drink. We then drank our beer and walked up the hill towards the castle. There were shops all along the street and apartments above all the shops.  After a few more minutes, we got to the top of the hill, where Prague Castle was at. The view is absolutely fantastic. You can see the entire city from up there! After taking it all in, we walked down the 23240792305 stairs and were back at the bottom. We surprisingly ended up exactly where we needed to be. So instead of jinxing ourselves and getting lost, we went to a restaurant near the hotel.

Tomorrow we go sight seeing! :-)

 Hi Jakub :-)

I didn't snap a photo the first time he held the sign,
so I asked him to hold it again once we got to the hotel
