August 23: Sunday Funday

Today was our last day in Berlin, so we decided to go on a bike ride around town. It was the perfect day for a bike ride, too. We may have had to make a few u-turns, but it was very nice anyway. We biked over to the TV tower and had lunch nearby. We ate a German restaurant and mom loved it... I loved the beer and bread.

After lunch we planned on going up the tower, but we ran out of time. So we biked back to the rental company and then walked back to the hotel. We packed up our things and headed to the train station for our next stop: Amsterdam.

Six hours later, we arrived in Amsterdam. We stepped out of the train and it was pouring outside. We tried to get a taxi and the driver said 'no' since it was walking distance. We walked around in the rain, dragging our 50+ pound suitcases, searching for our hotel. It was pretty frustrating. After 15 minutes or so, we find it and hurry inside. We get all settled in and get ready for tomorrow!
