My alarm went off at 7 am this morning, and boy, was it brutal. I still haven't adjusted to the time, so my sleeping pattern is completely out of whack. Anyway, it has been pretty hot in our room the past few nights, so we've been sleeping with the window open. When I woke up I checked my phone and it was 57 degrees, so our room felt amazing! So we got dressed real quick and headed downstairs for breakfast. We then jumped into a taxi and headed to the train station, called Heuston Station. Today we went to Galway, which is a two hour and thirty minute train ride. Unfortunately once we got there, all of our plans for the day got completely ruined. So instead of visiting the Cliffs of Moher, we toured the city of Galway. We hopped on a bus and went down to Salthill Beach. We grabbed lunch then walked down the beach, where we basically got blown away. After the tour, the bus dropped us off back in town on The Square (San Marcos' square is better ;-p), where we walked into the nearest pub and grabbed a beer before we headed back to Dublin. On the train ride back, my mom made friends with this woman who sat across from us. She even drove us back to our hotel once we got back to Dublin. After cleaning up, mom and I went walking down Grafton Street, searching for a place to eat. We ended up turning down this narrow alley and found this place called Porter House. It looked like a very fun place to hangout, however, we just grabbed dinner and left. After all, we have a big day tomorrow... we're headed to London, yall!!!
*Side note: Shawn dared me to take selfies with locals, so be on the lookout for those :-)
